How to keep a severed head alive.

I totally expected to see Ted Williams there.

But how about this.

You and I come up with a novel where the head of Ted Williams is kept alive via ventilator or lung capacitor and he, the head of course, teaches the Tampa Bay Rays how to hit and eventually win the pennant.

At this point, I’m not sure which of those two is less believable.
